The FLEXICOM device is connected over the RS232C interface to a traffic counting device. The Doppler radar counts the vehicle frequency, speed and length. This data is compressed and send to an FTP server.
The FLEXICOM device is mounted on a DIN rail. Some of the mobile systems also run on battery or solar panel. The FLEXICOM device only requires only 1 Watt of power. 2 Watt are required during GSM/GPRS communication. This is a cooperation with Innolutions GmbH (Switzerland).
